Hi, I’m Tove! (toːvə—it rhymes with "nova.”) I'm a lifelong word nerd and have been a creative services freelancer since 2013. My friend Randy and I co-founded Grimalkin Creative in 2021.
I've collaborated remotely on projects of all sizes as an editor, proofreader, access worker (transcriptionist and captioner), and project manager.
I do a lot of technical editing and have a special place in my heart for queer writing. I'm good at what I do because I can hyperfocus on grammar, mechanics, formatting, and tone like no one's business.
As a disabled and neurodiverse person, I'm super invested in information accessibility and accessible collaboration methods.
My ideal client is a linguistic descriptivist who works on crip time and feels kind of meh about DRM.
